Fire Ice and Rainbow

Further forays into digital painting, trying to improve my work and produce some nice portfolio images.

So you know when it's really late at night and you're tired and the sleepiness has reached a point where you may as well be drunk for how coherent you are? Well I was chatting to and was all "what should I draw tomorrow?" at which point I decided I would draw somebody in the snow...with a rainbow sword...fighting a lava monster. I then decided that as a challenge, I would not only point this, I would try to paint it as a legitimately decent piece of artwork. This is the result! I'm quite pleased with it actually.

All done in Photoshop, took about 4 hours.
