Since some of my most hardcore regulars (my mangateers, haha) follow me on here, it seems like a good place to ask if there's anything you'd particularly like to learn or do at a workshop. Naturally, when I started, I had no idea these would turn out to be a regular gig, so I didn't really plan any sort of programme! Of course, there are things I can't do due to limits on time and materials. For example, I'd love to teach you guys how to use pro equipment such as dip pens or digital inking with manga studio, but that's just not feasible due to the materials needed.
I was thinking of doing one on how to design characters effectively for black and white manga (ie. how to use shape and visual clues, and how to balance black and white for a striking look like you'd see in popular shounen titles like 'Bleach', 'Naruto' or 'One Piece'.)
But seriously, throw me some ideas if you have them! The workshops are for you guys, after all.
Some things may not work as a workshop, but if you have any specific questions, like if you're making a jiman competition entry and want to know how to do something like ink, tone lay out pages etc. I'll try to answer as best I can, so you can always leave me a comment or a note!

Train, train, take us away...
take us away, far away,
To the future we will go, where it stops, nobody knows.
